I'd like to start off by saying how important an “attitude of gratitude” is in life. Words can't express how grateful I am every day for being blessed with a healthy body and a healthy appreciation for this amazing journey through life. Having survived stage 3 metastatic melanoma, my life had surely not gone as planned. I can say today, with 100% confidence and enthusiasm, that I am most certainly right where I am supposed to be. I have never been prouder than I am today. My personal victory against the melanoma “beast” inspired me to start my own non-profit foundation, Kelly’s Dream, in 2009. Our original mission was to help fund melanoma research, but, over the years, the Foundation has evolved into so much more.
